For the past 13 years, Legal Resume Review has been a trusted resource within the legal community for attorneys to have their resume reviewed, critiqued, and improved by myself and out talented team of reviewers. We’ve heard success stories from many past clients that they have been able to find the legal career of their dreams. Whether it was in private practice, in house or in a field tangentially related to the law, we’ve helped tailor resumes that got our clients noticed! For all those clients who took the time to let us know that we were a small part of their success, thank you!
Legal Resume Review has always been a small business. It’s just me and a small handful of reviewers, all of whom have a strong passion for seeing people have the best, most polished resume possible. Deep down, our grand mission was to help people find the career of their dreams. But, as with any business, it takes time to keep it moving forward and thriving. Sadly, time is a finite resource.
From the start, Legal Resume Review was a passion project; it was a side hustle (if that can be said without a negative connotation). As my primary vocation of being a legal recruiter has grown, I’ve found less and less time available to review resumes. We’ve had several occasions where we were unable to take additional resumes as the work would put us over our capacity. Instead of increasing bandwidth, I’ve made the difficult decision to focus on my primary vocation: legal recruiting.
While I’m not ready to say that I’m hanging up the resume review services for good, I think that as we enter 2024, I’m going to take a hiatus to focus on the continued growth of Sand Search Partners (www.sandsearch.com).
Any currently scheduled reviews will be completed. Anyone who has inquired about a review can contact me directly about scheduling a review, as I don’t want this announcement to catch you off guard. For all others, we will not be accepting new reviews until further notice.
